About Us
RIB Charters tailored for You in The Solent and The Isle of Wight area.
Portsmouth RIB Charter and Southampton RIB Charter was created from a passion and love for the water, and the journeys it can take you on. It has been a long time in the making, starting off as a dream the owner had as a child, and who has now been able to bring to life in his older(ish) years.

All our skippers hold a Commercially Endorsed Advanced Powerboat Licence with all the relevant safety certificates including Sea Survival, First Aid and VHF use, which have been all certified by the Royal Yachting Association (RYA). Rest assured you are in safe hands, but if you have any queries then we will be happy to discuss these with you.
The main event is of course “Aquadiction” our Ribeye 785. It has a 250hp Mercury V8 Verado Outboard engine and can reach top speeds of up to 45 knots whilst having the style, quality, comfort and performance that the Ribeye brand is well known for. “Aquadiction” resides in Port Solent, Portsmouth. There is on site and local amenities as well as plenty of free parking. Don’t worry if this location is not convenient as we can also arrange other pick up points if preferred, for example Gunwharf Quays, Gospor, Ocean Village, Hythe Marina, Hamble Point Marina or most other marinas in The Isle of Wight and Solent area. The RIB is licensed to hold 11 people and we look forward to welcome you on board. If your party exceeds 11 panic not, we have our second Ribeye 785, "Aquaholic" which is based in Southampton. We can arrange additional Ribeye 785’s for even larger groups for that uniformed look.
Portsmouth RIB Charter offers a journey to meet all your needs in and around The Solent and The Isle of Wight area. We enjoy creating tailor made trips as well as offer some most common requested trips from 2 hours to a full day on the water. Our RIB is the perfect way to create memories on the water for small or larger groups, on a stag or hen party, corporate events or just a family day out. We will be sure to create a trip that suits your personal requirements.

Private Charters
Skippered charters with Portsmouth RIB Charter will enable you to enjoy a safe and comfortable trip, giving you exclusive use of our RIB on a date and time of your choosing.
Our private charters can be booked for up to 10 guests, making it ideal for groups of friends and family, whether you are celebrating a special occasion, planning a stag or hen party or just wishing to enjoy a day out on the water, exploring the Solent and the Isle of Wight. We can tailor your charter to meet your individual needs.
Bareboat Charter
You can now hire our RIB for the day as long as you hold a Powerboat 2 Licence or above. It is a great way to explore the Solent by yourselves at your own pace. With so many events happening throughout the year why not charter the boat and get up close to the action at the boat races or during Cowes week? Corporate Charters
At Portsmouth RIB Charter we offer trips tailored to your corporate needs. Whether you're looking to impress or reward your clients, suppliers or staff. Your party will be warmly welcomed on board by your professional skipper. You will enjoy a first class charter experience and a totally unique trip.
Itineraries can be discussed to suit your requirements. Corporate experiences can be booked for up to 10 guests per vessel. We are able to arrange numerous Ribeye 785’s for that uniformed corporate look. RIB charters are ideal for entertaining clients, as well as motivating and rewarding staff.
Shuttles and Transfers
You can charter our RIB for that special occasion to transport your friends or family to a waterside pub, restaurant or beach in style. The RIB can be booked for groups of up to 10 guests and we can tailor the transfer to suit your needs.
We offer transfers to and from most marinas on the Isle of Wight and on the mainland. We can tailor your trip to suit your requirements, whether it is a trip to shore or to another boat or yacht.
Commercial Charter
Portsmouth RIB Charter is available for commercial charter, providing the perfect craft for product launches, or for your film, photographic and media work in the Solent area. We also offer transfers of staff and equipment, as well as access to news incidents and special events.
Our RIB is coded by the MCA (Maritime and Coastguard Agency) with a workboat certification.
